Ah, been a while since i've been on this site. Anyways, yes a movie is well deserved for E7. Personally I want to see Eureka and Renton after the 1yr later mark. The ending kept me hoping.

I first heard this from a mecha anime forum. Also, I heard about this on Cartoon Network. At first much hype went around about this anime. It looked interesting, and the other mecha anime showing at the time ended.
